4 Companions in one week?!

Woah lots of changes this week! Don't worry I am still with Elder Gajadhar. We had 3 exchanges this week so Elder Gajadhar got to see a lot of different areas and I got to take several other Elders with me in May Pen. First was with Elder Tekurio, who is in Hopeton right now. He is from Tahiti and really is a missionary of faith. We had a lesson with Sobrina Whyte, someone we have been teaching for a while and had her son baptized last year. She was so so so prepared for this lesson! She had some principles that she didn't agree with along with that she didn't feel she was good enough to take the step. Well the Sunday prior she had a confirmation of the truth and felt that she needed to come to Christ as she is and that He would do the rest. She is on date for baptism for the 28th now! I am realizing that God is doing so much work with these people while we are away and these people have been prepared for much longer than I've been here.

Next Elder was Elder Braithwaite who is in Junction right now. Both of us are working on our knowledge of the doctrine we teach. Yes, haha, I am still learning more about these doctrines I've been teaching for almost 2 years. Well, it was really fun to teach with Elder Braithwaite. Then I had an exchange with Elder Jean Baptiste and we had a great day together as well! Really the whole week was good and honestly it gets hard to keep explaining days of the mission when they blurr to be the same.

Some fun things from this week though was that we taught a lesson while some members were killing chicken and plucking feathers! That was sweet!

We are making a lot of food and I'm getting down some really good stew chicken! Not exactly the way people here in Jamaica make it so I'll have to ask the tips for that.

Then, this is more of a sad note, but we had rain the morning of Sunday. It was sad because that meant that no one came to church. We actually had ok member attendance, which was great! But very little people we are teaching or members we are reactivating made it out. Sad to see it, but you do see who are truly converted when they make it past the rain!

General Conference is next week and we are stoked for that! Hope you all get to enjoy the words of the Prophet and Apostles!!!
