Oh What a Beautiful Morning!

Oh transfers! It has been a good transfer in Montego Bay/Falmouth. I am going to have another one here in Falmouth and I am looking forward to it! Transfers are tomorrow and it's always an exciting time seeing new faces and saying see ya later to others.

We had exchanges this week in Montego Bay and I got to work there again with Elder Bush! I learned a lot from him and we both definitely learned to be prayerful in our work. It was the first day of the exchange and we went to Sam Sharpe Square, middle of town, and went about talking to people. After a little while Elder Bush thought we should pray to meet someone. We did and the result of the next hour was talking with 4 interested guys. Now that may not sound too miraculous, but finding men who are genuinely interested in the gospel is a very tough thing to do. I also had a homeless guy grab me from behind and in not very nice words, ask me to fill his cup with my blood... I told him no.

Another crazy thing that happened with Elder Webb and I was when we were walking far into this housing area and passed a bar. It is always when we pass a bar! Anyways the first time this guy yelled at us and then on our way back out he has a chainsaw! Yeah, he started it up, yelled more and waved it while threatening us. Don't worry though, we survived and it was just another evening in Falmouth!

Now the good part! We had a mission wide devotional with the area seventy, Elder Kevin Brown! I loved the things that were shared as they surrounded the 5th chapter of Jacob in the Book of Mormon. This chapter describes the Lord of a vineyard and the care he and his servants give to his olive trees. This last time I read it, I felt of the love our Lord has for us in His vineyard. He mourns for everyone of us that are lost and wonders what he could have done more. I would encourage everyone, in whatever circumstances you're in, to read Jacob 5 and relate it to what is on your mind!

Just as the Lord continues to labor for His trees, continue to labor diligently and you will see the fruit of your work! Jacob 5 really is good! Love you all and keep up the good work.
