I love missionary work

The beginning of the week was a little different from every other week I've had so far. Monday night we found out we were moving out of our apartment on Tuesday! So Tuesday we moved, having to take multiple trips to the Elders apartment in Montego Bay. We were still able to find and talk with people along the way, though! Wednesday we had a walk-through of the apartment we just left with Sister Kitras, the mission housing coordinator, and the landlady. As the landlady was saying what was missing from the apartment, we realized we accidentally moved some of the apartment's things to Montego Bay!! We thought those items were the mission's! So then we were asked to get it back there as soon as possible, that meant a little more driving. After those couple of days it had been a while since we had sat down and taught someone.

That is probably what made the rest of the week so good! Our first lesson in the week was with Ms. Mills and she is just the sweetest. The next few days were just packed with talking and teaching so many people! Friday we went up to a new area called Clark's town. I swear we talked to every guy in that town! Most weren't that interested but they got to hear us testify of what we believe. One guy, named Shane, talked with us for a bit about his philosophies. It was weird because most of what he said aligned with the gospel of Jesus Christ but he was too deep in his thoughts to see it, haha.

Saturday was probably one of the most exciting days ever! We went to teach this lady on the Martha Brae river where she sells for tourists. We were going to have our lunch there as well but we decided to grab some food at a store and parked to eat lunch. While eating we had several guys come up to us and ask what we do. We got several numbers and gave several Books of Mormon! All we were doing was eating lunch.

So we are living in Montego Bay now and it is not as enjoyable driving an hour to our area every day, but that's how it goes sometimes. Our new apartment in Falmouth needs a lot of things done before we get in there. They said a few weeks so I'm guessing I won't get to see the day we move in, haha. We shall see though because I would love to see the change of the new apartment being right in town. I do know we are meant to be here in Montego Bay though, because one day we stopped in a store here and met a return missionary from another branch that will soon be moving to Trelawny, our area! He didn't know we had a group set up there and we gave him our number for when he moves! Probably will be later in the new year but that will be a miracle to extremely bless the church in Falmouth!

Saw many more tender mercies that show me that God is real and knows what we need. We can find joy in knowing this because in the end it will all be ok. Love you all and have another great week!
