Many, many blessings!
Started off the week with Zone Conference! We had some great trainings and discussions from the Sisters, President, and the APs. Sadly, Elder Webb and I had to miss some of it to get food but from what we got to participate in, it was great! I got to conduct the conference as well, which was fun!
So last week we met Miss B who said she would get our number to the landlord of the apartment we found. Well, we didn't get a call so we called her. She was with the owner that morning but lost our number! She felt so bad but was glad she could now give it to the landlord. Then on Thursday, we had our day planned with a lot of time talking with people in town but as we were leaving we get a call from the realtor and asked if we could meet him in town at the library in 15 minutes! Of course we said yes and met with him. He told us about the apartment, which is a 1 bed, 1 bath, very cozy. It also shares a front door with another separate unit. After giving us all of the details he tells us that he doesn't want us to rent that one! Haha!! He asked if we would rather be even closer in the town and tells us about this other property that is, very much, a better option! He made some calls and we went and checked the place out! Besides some repairs, it is great and is now in the process of being rented out for missionaries. We have no idea when we will move in or if it is for sure as yet but that was an exciting part of the week!
We also had a little scare with some of our missionaries.. Long story short, we couldn't get in touch with them, they weren't home, and it was curfew! Thankfully it was just a bad mix of no phone service, phone on silent, and they couldn't get a taxi home but made it home right after curfew.
