Surprise!

Wow, what a week! We got Elder Goddard back on Tuesday so we are back in a trio.  We have had some people really progressing and Naomi came to church! It was really exciting to see her there because she really wants to be baptized and she doesn't want to until she is able to come to church every Sunday. So she is working on it.

I guess I should get right to the surprise. I am getting transferred! Yes I was told a month ago that I would be here for a while but the Lord has other plans for me! Those plans are for me to go to Port Antonio and train a new missionary. So we both won't know anything about the area and my companion will be fresh into the mission and fresh into Jamaica!! It is going to be a blast and I am so excited to take on this new adventure!

Besides the transfer news there hasn't been a whole lot. It has been good with those we are teaching and the progress they are making. All of our friends in Yallahs will be up to two different Elders because Elder Driscoll is being transferred as well! Such abrupt changes are not normal but I trust that Jah knows. It's the Lord's work and He knows what He is doing. We got to talk to President Odonkor about the transfers because we see him every Sunday and he said that the changes being made are very much spirit led and unlike anything he has done before. I've only heard of a few of the moves in the mission but with the 16 new missionaries I am sure there are a lot more!

Look forward to next week's email of all of the changes and I hope all is good where you are at.
