Staying in Yallahs

Dang it has really felt like a short transfer! Part of that may be because I moved here only a month ago, but still so quick. Both Elder Driscoll and I will be staying here in Yallahs for at least another 6 weeks. However, to be honest, it looks like it may be a good bit more, so let's go Yallahs!

We really have been teaching a lot of cool people this week and it is so amazing to see the difference between those who can feel the Spirit as messages are shared and those that show less interest. There is this one guy named Romain that we found last week. It had just poured real hard and all of our lessons were cancelled for the day. We then decided, after it stopped raining, to go to this one area with a lot of houses. There were not very many people out still, but we saw a guy on his veranda and asked if we could talk. We came up and asked him if he has ever seen missionaries like us around and if he has ever wondered what it is we do. He said yes because he has always seen us around and had the question of "why are these guys dressed up all the time, walking every day?" We talked with him for a little and set up another time to stop by and share why it is we are here. He seems really cool.

The weather this week was pretty awesome too! We have several days of hard rain and a really cool lighting storm as well! It was always cool, except for the times the rain caught us while we were out walking but like with Romain, we still saw miracles come of it, haha.

Also I finally took the time to have my first jelly coconut, which was way good and also was given some ginup from a random guy we met. Ginup is so good and I was very grateful for Fitzroy Camble and his kindness to share! What's crazy is that I have been here for 6 months and there are still a lot of fruits and foods I need to try! So I will have to do better at the and let you all know how that goes!

Love you all and hope that the 4th of July was amazing!!!
