I will miss you Junction

This week has been great! There has been a lot of change, and a lot of the spirit.

First we met with our friend Sharene, who lives with Sister Gayle. We had a great lesson with her and she has committed to be baptized on the 24th of June!!! It was a great lesson to start the week off with and she really is looking forward to learning more and beginning to change her life.

We also got to meet with Martha and Jenna Lee, who we are working towards getting baptized as well. Their parents are members so they know a good amount of what we teach but this Thursday we were teaching Martha about the 10 commandments and throughout the lesson more and more kids kept joining! They were just coming from everywhere and by the end of the lesson we were teaching 9 kids! After the lesson one little girl asked if we wanted to see her magic trick and she showed it to us. I may have then proceeded to show them how I can pull off my finger and some other little tricks with a coin and they were blown away haha. Finally a talent of mine that came in handy!

Over the weekend we had a Zone devotional where we learned what the zone goals were for the transfer. There was a little bit of confusion because of the unbelievability of the goals but here they are.

Baptisms: 100

People on date for baptism: 200

People at church: 900

New people found: 2000

Now these goals are not normal! These are massive goals because last month our zone only had 3 baptisms ... however, I read a quote from Preach My Gospel that really helped me with these goals. "District, zone, and mission standards will help you stretch, work effectively, and reach higher levels of performance." I realized that even though these goals seem daunting, I am only required to do my best. So that is what I will do!

There was also some surprising news Sunday night that we got from our Zone Leaders ... I am being emergency transferred to the opposite side of the Island! I will be going to Yallahs, which is Elder Schneiders old area, and I am going to be a District Leader! It has been a great 5 months in Junction but I will say that I am excited for the change. It will be good, so look forward to hearing how Yallahs is in my next weekly!

Stay well and healthy, all of you, and embrace change. Change is how God wants us to grow so whether or not we want it, he is going to give it to us haha.

I love you all and wish you the best
