Dad?...

This week has been really good and honestly has gone by so fast! Last Monday was Zone P Day so we got to go up to Mandeville and have a kind-of field day with other missionaries. It was a blast! Got to play Spikeball (which it has been way too long), Ludi (it is basically Jamaican, sorry), and do a little scavenger hunt made by another Elder. After that good day, it was back to work!

We have been meeting a lot of new people with all of the walking we have been doing. We actually met a guy named Mark from the Cayman Islands who is super cool and will try teaching him until he heads back to Cayman. We also got to find where a family in the branch lives! We got dropped off where we thought they were going to be... only to find out it was an hours walk away, haha. So we started walking and didn't know where we were so we told the sister directing us over the phone that we were under a mango tree with a bench. Turns out their house was just up the hill! So we got to meet with them and teach some of their family.

We also got a call from a recent old friend who moved to the states! Don't know if anyone would remember but we were teaching an Owen and he is awesome. He wanted to be baptized but had just moved to the states Tuesday.  He has been meeting with missionaries in West Virginia and is going to be baptized on the 16th!!! That was really cool and fun to hear.

Then Sunday, at church, we were supposed to have someone from the Mandeville branch speak and they were not able to make it... so right before, Elder Schneider and I were asked to give talks, haha. Also, President Morgan asked if my dad could bare his testimony and if Brother Knight, from home, would still like to give a musical number. Oh yeah, my Dad and Brother Knight got to come to church here in Junction!! Haha, it was really cool and a lot of awesome interactions between the members of the Branch with Dad and Brother Knight and with Mikel, who we are teaching. Honestly, I think because I was in "missionary" mode, I didn't really say hi or even hug him! It was a good thing that we got to hang out with them Monday. It was really cool to see my dad here in Jamaica!

Right now I am actually at the Santa Cruz Elder's apartment because we will be having exchanges in their area Tuesday so I don't have my journal that usually helps me remember everything from last week haha.

Love you all and I'll prepare better for the next weekly. :)
