Nov 30th

Well, I did not know if I was going to write an email while in the MTC but there is a computer right next to the washer that my load of laundry is in so here I am waiting for it to finish. It has been such a cool transition to in-person! Finally got to meet my comp and everyone else in my district and can't believe it's only been 2 weeks that I have been with these friends. The Spirit is so strong here on this Campus! I know the things that I have and will learn here will guide me through my mission and the rest of my life. Leaning on the Lord and less on myself has been the hardest thing for me to apply to my life. More recently though, I have seen the difference it can make in my teaching and learning. There are hard days for sure when I can't stop thinking about everyone at home, but in my own farewell talk I talked about what we would be willing to give for the greatest possession. I will easily give 2 years of my life and many more to my Heavenly Father if it means I can return to him. Doctrine and Covenants 78:18 says "and ye can not bear all things now; nevertheless, be of good cheer, for I will lead you along." I know this to be true!

Now I'm going to try my best to keep these emails shorter cause I'm not the biggest writer ever. So if anyone has questions or just wants to see how the mission life's going, email me and I can get back on Tuesday.

Talk to y'all next Tuesday!
