  Well, I did not know if I was going to write an email while in the MTC but there is a computer right next to the washer that my load of laundry is in so here I am waiting for it to finish. It has been such a cool transition to in-person! Finally got to meet my comp and everyone else in my district and can't believe it's only been 2 weeks that I have been with these friends. The Spirit is so strong here on this Campus! I know the things that I have and will learn here will guide me through my mission and the rest of my life. Leaning on the Lord and less on myself has been the hardest thing for me to apply to my life. More recently though, I have seen the difference it can make in my teaching and learning. There are hard days for sure when I can't stop thinking about everyone at home, but in my own farewell talk I talked about what we would be willing to give for the greatest possession. I will easily give 2 years of my life and many more to my Heavenly Father if it means I...

Baptism!

Pretty crazy two weeks have gone by since I last sent an email! Is time flying or what? We've been working hard here in May Pen and honestly that's probably why time flew by so fast!  We had a baptism for our friend Paula-Ann Clayton this last Saturday! It was really good and she's so prepared to be a member missionary and eventually go on a mission in the next year! Her whole family, mostly non-members, was able to make it as well.  We've got a lot of plans for this week, we had a lot of the youth and young adults at a camp this last week so we are hoping to keep their spiritual momentum going by having them help us all the time with our missionary work! We are for sure to see some miracles there.  Other than ... that just working hard, meeting lots of people and seeing little miracles everywhere. Vacation, work, surprise, vacation

Tuesday we had a mission leadership meeting and it went well, took a lot from it. We got pulled from our area early Monday morning to go to Kingston, to stay the night, and then have the meeting the next day... that was a little annoying but we managed and got fed. 😋  Ok, now imagine you're working hard in a new area, trying to get used to all of the newness and  different circumstances. You love playing ping pong in the mornings and also being with the new friends you are making and then you get news that you're going back?... Back? Back where?... Back to Maypen!.. Wait, what!? Yep, I am back in Maypen. That was my last area 2 weeks ago and I took Elder Wilson with me. There have been 4 sisters there and they are going to replace us in Mandeville. The weirdest thing is that this is only for 9 days, so by next Monday, most likely, we will be back in Mandeville. Dang it gets chaotic sometimes 😅.
