  Well, I did not know if I was going to write an email while in the MTC but there is a computer right next to the washer that my load of laundry is in so here I am waiting for it to finish. It has been such a cool transition to in-person! Finally got to meet my comp and everyone else in my district and can't believe it's only been 2 weeks that I have been with these friends. The Spirit is so strong here on this Campus! I know the things that I have and will learn here will guide me through my mission and the rest of my life. Leaning on the Lord and less on myself has been the hardest thing for me to apply to my life. More recently though, I have seen the difference it can make in my teaching and learning. There are hard days for sure when I can't stop thinking about everyone at home, but in my own farewell talk I talked about what we would be willing to give for the greatest possession. Vacation, work, surprise, vacation

Tuesday we had a mission leadership meeting and it went well, took a lot from it. We got pulled from our area early Monday morning to go to Kingston, to stay the night, and then have the meeting the next day... that was a little annoying but we managed and got fed. 😋  Ok, now imagine you're working hard in a new area, trying to get used to all of the newness and  different circumstances. You love playing ping pong in the mornings and also being with the new friends you are making and then you get news that you're going back?... Back? Back where?... Back to Maypen!.. Wait, what!? Yep, I am back in Maypen. That was my last area 2 weeks ago and I took Elder Wilson with me. There have been 4 sisters there and they are going to replace us in Mandeville. The weirdest thing is that this is only for 9 days, so by next Monday, most likely, we will be back in Mandeville. Dang it gets chaotic sometimes 😅. Alright, sorry about last week

So I am back in Jamaica! I have missed it here, that's for sure. Being in the culture and being around the people has brought back a lot of good feelings. I feel like my adjustment hasn't been too bad but we did come back and forth between Islands a lot for the last few months. I have a new companion and his name is Elder Blackwood! He is from Yallahs and actually decided to serve his mission when I was there in his home branch. He was a great youth when I was there last year and it's so cool to be training him into his mission. He was originally assigned to the Ivory Coast, Africa Mission but will be here for 6 weeks before he goes to the MTC in Ghana.  We have been really focusing on teaching the people the good word of God. Teaching from the scriptures to everyone recently has brought a lot of miracles.
