Tuesday we had a mission leadership meeting and it went well, took a lot from it. We got pulled from our area early Monday morning to go to Kingston, to stay the night, and then have the meeting the next day... that was a little annoying but we managed and got fed. 😋  Ok, now imagine you're working hard in a new area, trying to get used to all of the newness and  different circumstances. You love playing ping pong in the mornings and also being with the new friends you are making and then you get news that you're going back?... Back? Back where?... Back to Maypen!.. Wait, what!? Yep, I am back in Maypen. That was my last area 2 weeks ago and I took Elder Wilson with me. There have been 4 sisters there and they are going to replace us in Mandeville. The weirdest thing is that this is only for 9 days, so by next Monday, most likely, we will be back in Mandeville. Dang it gets chaotic sometimes 😅.   Well, I did not know if I was going to write an email while in the MTC but there is a computer right next to the washer that my load of laundry is in so here I am waiting for it to finish. It has been such a cool transition to in-person! Finally got to meet my comp and everyone else in my district and can't believe it's only been 2 weeks that I have been with these friends. The Spirit is so strong here on this Campus! I know the things that I have and will learn here will guide me through my mission and the rest of my life. Leaning on the Lord and less on myself has been the hardest thing for me to apply to my life. More recently though, I have seen the difference it can make in my teaching and learning. There are hard days for sure when I can't stop thinking about everyone at home, but in my own farewell talk I talked about what we would be willing to give for the greatest possession. I will easily give 2 years of my life and many more to my Heavenly Father if it means I...

Wow, what a week!? Well after a good days worth of flying on Tuesday we made it and so did all of our luggage! It was a group of 3 Elders and 2 Sisters. We walked out of the plane and it is no longer winter Kansas guys. I will say that there has been a lot of things that have made me grateful I have already had the chance to visit this beautiful island. So the humidity and heat change wasn't too surprising, but that wasn't the experience for a couple of the other new Jamaica missionaries.  When we walked out of the airport it was 8:30 Jamaica time and we found another Elder that actually got there 5 hours earlier... poor guy. Apparently there was a miscommunication so no one knew he had got in so early. But not long after we got there our APs, Elders Beach and Brown, came running up and loaded our luggage into the mission van. We got to a hotel in Kingston and passed out after a day of traveling.
