We had an Elder with us for the last few days of the week and that mixed it up a bit. It was a good week but tomorrow we will be getting my new companion from Guyana! His name is Elder Gajadhar and he has been out for 6 months. We saw him give his testimony last night during our Sunday Mission Devotional on zoom. I'm excited to see what is ahead for this next transfer! 

We had a baptism for our friend Kay-leigh Mignott, Sister Thomas's daughter and Brother Thomas was able to baptize and confirm her a member of the church! It was really sweet to see it because she is really shy and quiet and that was the biggest struggle teaching her but I could tell deep down she was excited. 

This week Elder Macfarlane and I had a goal of 30 lessons this week and the week started really good with that! We just have so many people to meet with and check up on that we set the goal to motivate us to not waste the small amounts of time and continue going. We were doing really good but we got just a few under. However, a few of the days this week we did have several members out teaching with us and their excitement of the work motivates me so much! On Sunday Brother Miller went with us to a lesson and afterwards he asked what the rest of the evening looked like. After we told him, we asked if he wanted to join for a few more of them. He said "run it through" and he went with us for the whole evening! It was awesome and I love that guy so much for his consecration to this work! 

We have Clinton Smith, Kevin Caine, Earnel Geohagen, Enrique Henry and Crystal Henry who all are working towards baptism. We are doing all we can to help them but there are much prayers needed. Love you all and I love these people!

Tuesday we had a mission leadership meeting and it went well, took a lot from it. We got pulled from our area early Monday morning to go to Kingston, to stay the night, and then have the meeting the next day... that was a little annoying but we managed and got fed. 😋  Ok, now imagine you're working hard in a new area, trying to get used to all of the newness and  different circumstances. You love playing ping pong in the mornings and also being with the new friends you are making and then you get news that you're going back?... Back? Back where?... Back to Maypen!.. Wait, what!? Yep, I am back in Maypen. That was my last area 2 weeks ago and I took Elder Wilson with me. There have been 4 sisters there and they are going to replace us in Mandeville. The weirdest thing is that this is only for 9 days, so by next Monday, most likely, we will be back in Mandeville. Dang it gets chaotic sometimes 😅. This week was pretty eventful! One evening we had a member who recently returned from a mission join us in our companionship study, which me and my companion have every evening, and we did teaching role plays with him. Haha, missionaries are pretty familiar with roleplays and usually are not fond of them. It was fun with him, though, and we learned a lot! That same member also brought a friend to church! We were pretty excited to teach her after church and, oh boy, did she have questions to ask and then her own answers to give to every one. I had begun to question a bit what  her purpose of asking those questions was, but we just listened and tried to really understand where she is at with her conversion and relationship with God. We are hopeful for her!🙏  Here is one of the many things I've learned this week as well. I need to be careful playing sports... Wet and cool Mandeville

Alright well it rains more here in Mandeville than in May Pen so that's been a treat this week! I think just about everyday it's dumped rain and I no longer have a truck to take shelter in. Honestly, it has been a lot of fun and reminds me of past areas and times on my mission.  The Branch here is way fun! We had Friday  night activities and we played football for a bit. I was already sore from walking and then football did me over on the tiredness. I definitely slept well that night. Fun story though was that I slipped in the mud hard but popped back up and got around a kid with the ball and now some of the branch kids call me superman or Messi Jr. I haven't told them I'm actually not good at football yet 🤫 We also have this active, recently returned missionary who went out teaching with us and that was way sweet.
